STRIVE for Exceptional Excellence is an vocational rehabilitation program and downloadable app for teenagers and adults with disabilities.

SIGN​ IN

Sign into the Exceptional Excellence Employment App by using your email and password. Sign In information is private and can only be viewed by the individual user. Be sure to keep sign in information in a self place. STRIVE for Exceptional Excellence staff members are not privy to sign in information, therefore we are not able to retrieve this information if it is lost. Please review Terms of Use and Privacy Policy to learn more about how we collect and use personal information from those who visit our website or make use of our online facilities and services, and what we will and will not do with the information we collect. 

SIGN UP

Consumers using the Exceptional Excellence Employment APP will sign-up for membership at a price of 99¢ per month. Customers will access In-App features centered on vocational rehabilitation supports. Most features can be access 24 hours a day with paid membership, while the ConsultED feature is available during business hours Monday thru Thursday. To Sign up users need to subscribe from membership and create an account. Customers will use their sign in information to log into the App. Remember, sign in information includes the user’s email and password.

Strive for Exceptional Excellence LLC, GA ask that you review its Terms of Use and Privacy Policy prior to entering your information. Your information will your first and last name, your city and state of residence, zip code, and telephone number. The App will ask you to confirm your information. 

ACCOUNT SUCCESS

The Exceptional Excellence Employment App will inform users when they have successfully created an account. Once an account is created users will be prompted to began using STRIVE’s digital platform; once customers create an account they will have access the STRIVE’s in-app components including its resume’ building feature. 

SEARCH JOB

Searching for a job is a job in itself! STRIVE for Exceptional Excellence is dedicated to lessening the stress that comes with looking for employment. STRIVE’s App users will fill out required details and view jobs matching their preferences; Completing this App feature helps to tailor your job searching experience. Providing details about job positions and locations will help the Exceptional Excellence App “narrow down” listings of jobs that will populate for each users. Note: for best results STRIVE for Exceptional Excellence suggest completing account setting.  

PROFILE

The user profile page list jobs searches, resumes, favorite job listings. Applied jobs, and account settings. The profile page will store the users information and can be retrieved by the customer at anytime. 
Note: Users are encouraged to click the help bottom if difficulties arise. Remember help sessions (consultED) are available during business hours.  

APPLY TO THIS JOB

The Exceptional Excellence App will list potential places of employment. Customers will be able to apply to jobs listed directly on the App.

Troubleshooting Push Notifications on Android App

Certain Android devices might not receive push notifications when the SQRL app is closed. We’ve collected some instructions and resources below to help you troubleshoot this problem.

You can configure SQRL app to notify you on your mobile when you’re away using the app. However, there may be cases where the Android mobile app is not showing the push notification when the app is closed.  To ensure you keep receiving push notifications, you’ll need to set your device.

The exact steps for this process will vary depending on your device model. We recommend using the information here as a starting point. Should you need the precise model details, we recommend searching the internet to find the instructions specific to your device or contact your device manufacturer for additional assistance.

Troubleshooting

  • Switch off battery optimization for SQRL:
  • Settings > Apps > Click the three dots on the upper right corner > Special Access > Optimize battery usage > Tap on the dropdown menu that says ‘Apps not optimized’, then switch it to all apps > Scroll to bottom to find SQRL > Turn OFF battery optimization for the SQRL App.
  • Notifications: Settings > Notifications > Select the SQRL -> make sure that Notifications are turned on and set to Normal.
  • Disable Restrict background data setting.

Troubleshooting

  • Android typically stops showing notifications for apps after accumulating a sizeable number of notifications. At that point, you will not see new notifications, but existing notifications will continue to show in notification tray and SQRL icon on top left corner. In order to resume new notifications, just clear notifications in the tray and open SQRL app.
  • Check Notifications are turned on: Different ways
    • Settings > Notifications > Notification Types > Make sure the Notifications are set to Normal.
    • Settings > Sound & Notification > App Notifications > Select the SQRL, and make sure that Notifications are turned on and set to Normal.
    • Settings > Apps & Notifications > SQRL App > Notifications.
  • Make sure that Do Not Disturb is turned off.
  • Notifications may stop during “Sleeping” schedule and resume after the cycle ends. This is normal and intended behavior, but if you prefer to be notified during ‘Sleeping’ schedule, turn OFF Sleeping. Settings > Apps & Notifications > SQRL App > Notifications > Do not Disturb
  • Clear Cache
    • Settings > Apps > All apps (App manager or Manage apps).
    • > Select SQRL from the app list > Open Storage >
    • > Clear cache
  • Reset App PreferenceSettings > Apps & Notifications > Select ‘App info’ or ‘Manage apps’ to show all installed applications. > Click the 3-dot menu at the top-right corner, then select Reset app preferences. Confirm to reset app preferences. This will re-enable your notifications and reset all apps to default settings, but you’ll not lose any data.
  • Check if another app is obscuring your notifications.Settings > Apps & notifications > ‘Special app Access’ > Tap ‘Notification Access’ from the list It will show a list of apps that have access to your notification. Review them and consider uninstall that app
